Christmas Time

It's almost Christmas and I finally finished putting all the ornaments on the tree. Now, the big challange is keeping Cocoa from knocking all of the ornaments off of the tree. We have already had numerous ones knocked off & they have been hidden in our bedroom!! She keeps us laughing. We have been very busy with Christmas parties for work and we had one at our house, it was tons of fun! We have had so much snow here, it's crazy! Yukon loves playing in the snow, he is so cute. I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas! We love you all!!!

Hunting Season

Well, It's all over..... We did really well this year hunting. Nate shot 6 deer and I got 1! We have so much meat in our freezer, it's such a blessing. I am so proud of Nate, he did so well this year. He even shot an 8 point buck...Good Job Babe! We have such a great time while we go hunting and have so much fun with all the guys we go with. Since Deer season is over, we will start ice fishing and when the time comes we will start bird hunting. Hunting is such a nice way to be able to enjoy the beautiful earth and all that we are blessed with. It's not always about getting something when you go out, it's being away from it all in a peaceful environment.

The Family Comes To Visit!

I have not posted in a long time! Nate and I have been so busy with hunting season that I have been slacking. The week before Thanksgiving my Mom, Jake, Heather, Cody and My adorable nephew, Logan came to visit. We had so much fun. I just absolutely have fallen head over heels for my little nephew, I could just spend all day with him! Yukon absolutely loves Logan, but I think Logan is still trying to figure out what this huge, furry thing is! LOL
My brother Mike and his girlfriend, Leah came from Albany to visit as well, we had such a blast.
My Aunt Nanette and my cousins came from Buffalo for a big sleepover and we had just an amazing time together. We had many, many laughs that weekend. There is nothing more important in this world than family.
We love you guys SO much, thank you for coming to visit!

Duck Hunting

This weekend Nate, me and our friend John went duck hunting. It was lots of fun. Nate and John ended up shooting some ducks: a Wood Duck (not pictured), a Canadian Goose, Mallard and a Female Mallard. I unfortunately didn't get anything, but had fun anyways! Yukon wasn't able to go with us because we went in a canoe and I am sure you can all imagine how it would end up.....hahaha. He was pretty bummed, but he was sure excited to see all the ducks when they were brought home. Yukon of course thought that he was the one that "got" all the ducks, he looks so proud next to them!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Halloween is my favorite holiday! I love getting dressed up and eating tons of candy. I love dressing the dog and cat up too. This year, I was a tigress, Yukon was a skeleton and Cocoa was a bride. They looked so adorable. Nate and I got a lot of good laughs with them in their costumes. We handed candy out at our house and Yukon loved seeing all the kids come over. We had so many kids come to the house, that we ran out of candy. It probably didn't help that I was handing out huge handfuls, but we all remember what it was like to trick or treat! Plus, I don't need all that candy around the house, I would just eat it all. We had a great time!!

Nate's 28th Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Baby!!

For Nate's birthday we went out to our most favorite restaurant, Lascas. It was an absolute blast. The food there is so good, the prime rib is the best ever. We went with Nate's mom and sister, Courtney. After dinner we went and got Nate a new Xbox 360 game....he was sooo excited. He loves playing Xbox, it's his favorite hobby, well second to hunting. We had a great time at dinner!

Weekend at Long Point

This time of the year is really busy for Nate and me.....It's Hunting Season. We hunt on a farm in Long Point, it's right on Lake Ontario, west of Watertown, NY. It's one of the most peaceful settings, I love going up there. Nate has got 2 deer this year, I am still holding out for the "big" one! When we go up there, we bring Yukon and he loves running after the 4-wheeler when we go for rides. It's so funny how much he loves it. If Nate leaves the camp on the 4-Wheeler without Yukon, he just cries and cries. Poor Cocoa has to stay home, but Nate's mom always comes and visits her so she doesn't get too lonely. I have posted some pictures of our weekend up there! There is a picture of Nate trying to teach his Uncle Buzz how to play Big Buck Hunter! One of my favorite pictures of Yukon is the one where he just got done running behind the 4-Wheeler and he is covered in mud and has the Biggest smile on his face...Ha Ha!

"The Kids, Yukon & Cocoa"

These two are keeping Nate and me laughing constantly! From Cocoa running up and down the stairs with constant meowing to Yukon doing the matrix , we don't have to leave the house to catch some good entertainment. Cocoa just absolutely loves her big brother and gets so upset when he is outside or leaves the house. She sits by the door and cries and cries until he comes back in. They get along so well and we just love them so much. I posted some picutes of them from when we lived in our apartment, last years halloween costumes all the way until recently. Cocoa loves sleeping on her Daddy and Yukon is a total Mama's boy! I have a slight obsession with taking pictures of my babies, Nate is so patient and understanding....LOL!

Wedding Reception

After Las Vegas, we came back to Syracuse, had a reception with our close family and friends at Lakeshore Yacht & Country Club It was a blast. I will put more pictures on once I get more downloaded. We danced & partied all night long...maybe a little too much. :-) But it was so much fun and I was so thankful for all of our loved ones that shared our wonderful day with us. We wanted to say thank you to my mom, dad and Nate's mom for all of your help with this. We love you.

The Wedding Day 9/19/08

Nate and I got married!! On September 19, 2008 I married the Love of my Life in Las Vegas! We got married at The Little Church of the West. It was a quaint, wooden chapel with stain glass windows. It was a perfect day, I couldn't have asked for more. We had all of our loved ones with us and it was just amazing. I of course cried down the aisle and then my veil fell off during the ceremony...LOL! All I was thinking about was the fact that I was marrying my best friend. After the ceremony, we went back to the Bellagio, took some pictures, ate awesome food...then it was party time! We went out on the town for some drinkin' and dancing....It was a blast!!
