Fishing, Fishing & More Fishing......

We have been doing a lot of ice fishing. We have been getting a lot of Lake Trout (which don't taste good we found out) and Nate's been catching some perch. Yukon has been loving this since he goes with us all the time. He can hardly contain himself when he sees us getting ready. He runs all over the house with excitement...Ha Ha ha.

I am posting some pics from a day we went ice fishing on Owasco Lake with our friends. I caught a nice sized Laker, but was waaay too afraid to pick it up! Also that day our friends brought out their female Lab puppy, Raven, I swear she's Yukons Mini-Me! There is another picture on there of a Gar Pike that Nate caught....that thing is Scary lookin!! Good times and fun memories!!!

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!

Nate and I had our friends Seth and Renee over for the Superbowl. They have the cutest Chocolate Lab, Kayla, she is 2 years old. She is still in that very hyper Lab stage that doesn't end until they're like 3.... She was running all over the house, licking Yukon, trying to play with him and just loving on him....it was really cute. The funniest part was watching Kayla and Cocoa interact. As you can see from the picture above, Cocoa was not very happy that Kayla was at our house. She was growling and hissing at Kayla and even took a few swats at Kayla's nose (she's declawed) But, by the end of the night I think that Cocoa and Kayla started to become friends. It was a wicked good superbowl and the commercials were great too. My favorite ones are the Budweiser commercials with the horse and the Dalmation. I was happy that the Steelers won.....

Ice Fishing at Owasco Lake

Nate, Yukon and I went ice fishing on Saturday for some Lake Trout, we caught one! We were hoping for more because everyone around us was getting them, but I guess we didn't have the luck that day. It was still a great time, kinda cold, but it was nice to get some fresh air. Yukon ran all over the ice that day visiting everyone out there! He also got into our friend Justin's dad's hut where there was a nice heater running and burnt off the whiskers on the ride side of face! He is the biggest goof! I posted some pics of Nate with Yukon and the Lake Trout. I also posted a picture of a Tiger Muskie that Nate caught. They are the coolest looking fish! Hopefully next time we'll have more luck!
