He's Breaking The Rule Books.......

WOW!!! Hunter is 3 months old and he is cutting his first tooth!! I took him to the Dr's because he was not latching onto me for feedings and I thought I felt a tooth coming in. They said, no it's probably an ear infection, he's too young to get teeth. So, we brought him in and sure enough the dr said he's cutting his first tooth. The Dr. said Hunter is "Breaking the Rule Books" Our little baby is growing. He weighs 14.4 oz!! He is going to be a big kid.
He is so much fun and Nate and I laugh so much when he's kicking his legs & "talking" all day long. It's so amazing having a baby, it just brightens up your life!

My sister Heather came to visit with her kids, Logan and Leah in the end of January. I am just now posting some of these pictures cause I am a total slacker. Leah is 7 weeks older than Hunter. They are so cute together.... Hunter is sooooo long! They are going to be the best of friends.......

Hunter's First Pictures.....

I am trying to be better about updating the blog, hopefully I can try to do it once a month? This is what has been going on with us. I went back to work :( But the good news is that I get to work 2 days a week from home with Hunter!! It actually has not been too bad. The daycare providers are so great with Hunter that I have "peace of mind" while I am at work all day. He is so tired when he comes home from there from all the stimulation. Right now he is 11 weeks old and weighs 12lbs 16oz...he's a BIG BOY! He is growing by the day. He "talks" so much and tells us long stories about what he did all day long. It's so adorable. I get tears in my eyes when he smiles and coo's at me & Nate. I just love him.
Nate has been working a lot and doing some ice fishing on the weekends. We are also looking for a new house. We really want to move to the country so that we can have some land and be able to hunt on it. Cross your fingers that we can find something that is affordable and in good condition.
Last week Nate and I took Hunter to get his first pictures taken. He was so good throughout the entire shoot! I cried when the lady started taking his pictures, because he is just so darn cute. It's so amazing how much joy your baby brings to your life. Nate and I just love and cherrish our boy. This picture below is my favorite one of him :)

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!

On December 9th, 2010 at 9:05pm our beautiful baby boy, Hunter Joseph Butera was born. He was 8lbs 15oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. We are so happy that he is here! I am sorry it has taken me so long to post about his birth...life is TOTALLY different now that we have a newborn in the house. When I have a free moment, it's spent cleaning up and trying to fit in a shower...LOL. Nate and I could not be happier with our wonderful bundle of joy. Here are some pictures of his birth, Christmas and the past 6 weeks... I will try to update more often.

I love this picture of him....he was laughing and smiling for mommy :) I just have to say that being a mommy is the best gift that God could have ever given to me. I am so in love with our little boy. He makes me smile every day all day long. Life changes after you have a baby, but it's so much better. It's amazing to think that Nate and I created this beautiful baby boy. I am sleep deprived, don't wear any make-up, live in sweat pants and I wouldn't change it for the world. I am so sad because I have to go back to work on Feb 7th and I have to take him to a babysitters :( Spending this time with Hunter is priceless and I look forward to the days ahead.
